I would be very leery of the dealership when they tell you the rotors need replaced. Absurd at 25,000 miles.

There has been many sketchy stories with Dealerships stating rotors need replacing when it seems they do not. Are you going by thickness or cracking or just what they are saying? Some members even between Dealerships had one say yes and another say they are fine. I still say Lexus would have major issues if their buyers up front were told of the costs they are trying to charge and at such low mileage for something that should last a heck of a lot longer than 21,000-25,000 miles which seems to be the timing of when some are being told they need replacing. Performance car or not there is a stigma out there that is a large gray area with what seems to be some holes in the consistency of the information.

Track days will certainly make a difference. The Dealerships over here are a hit or miss trying to find a good one that you can trust. So many stories of service personnel giving bogus information then not making sense when you push back they dance in circles trying to have an explanation that makes any sense.

There are a few good ones out there but it is a real challenge finding one.
