Chris,

Speaking for virtually all of us, thanks for jumping in this forum and clarifying any confusion. Can you give us some data on the sound/decibels of your off road system?

Thanks,

Thanks for joining and helping us understand more about your system Chris. I would really like to see some of the dyno results if you find them

True Dual Cat-Back p#12656
  • Race System - NOT Street Legal
  • Dual 2.5" tubing all the way from factory flanges
  • Weighs 54lbs
  • Flowbench Test - Flows 366 more cubic inches of water than stock
Thanks for the post Chirs, but I think we're all waiting on a dyno.

For anyone with the information, how does the diameter and weight compare to the joez exhaust?

The JoeZ exhaust is 64lbs. Borla is claiming 54lbs.

Thanks,
We don't have dB ratings on either of these systems. The rear section is a little louder than stock at idle and significantly noticeable at WOT. The off-road system will of course be more aggressive than the street legal rear section all-around.

I am still not able to find the dyno results; we welcome a thrid-party dyno testing. Also, someone asked about the tubing size we use. The rear section comes from one 2.75" pipe into dual 2.5". The off-road system is dual 2.5" all the way back.

Thanks again for your interest in our product,
Chris

I ordered the Borla offroad system today for my IS-F, the stainless catback plus Xpipe. I live in West Palm Beach, FL and there is a company in Boynton Beach called 21st
Century Exhaust that has it, they are a wholesaler. Got it for $920 and it will take about 7 days to get here........i will keep you posted.

I also ordered the Borla axle-back system, I had it done a bit differently. Pipes will not be polished (am not a fan of bling) and mufflers and tips will be powder coated dark grey.

I should get it in a few weeks cause it'll have to be shipped.Keep you posted when it comes.

Both Borla systems utilize the stock F tips. I'm confused by your statement by your above statement concerning the tips:confused:
