Unless you paint them with some sort of clearcoat,it's gonna look cheesy and cheap.I ordered the "Lexus" nameplate from the "sportdesign" edition vehicles that came off a ES300, and took off the "IS" The "Lexus nameplate" is already smoked out with a gloss on it.Go to your Lexus wholesale dept. to get one, might cost you $10-20.If not then you can paint all the emblem's and it might cost you $50-100 depending on where you go_On Ebay you can get a set of "LEXUS IS300" emblems with the "L" for about $120 already in black, just take out the 300 and and apply the rest.
Hey smoke, are the emblems just attached with double sided tape? I might just remove the lexus and the IS on the trunk with dental floss and a hair dryer.
Yes the emblems are all doubled sided on...
Actually Yes And There Are Posts On The Back So You Have To Be Carefull.i Think The Best Bet Is To Buy The Emblems New And Paint Those And Install Them On Because You Might Brake The Emblem With The Posts--just A Suggestion Good Luck!!
If you haven't already done this, you can buy emblems already painted black. They are pretty expensive but its a full set, including one for the grill (I believe). Let me know if you want the link :)
which have posts? just the L circle emblems? i wish lexus would have colored them all the same as the wheels.
which have posts?

They all do.(on the back trunk lid)
Yeah they are so expensive, but they actually look very nice, i ordered them when i got my car, but its on nations back order and they cost me $$$925 including with the car, so thats your choice if you want to get it.
