Automatic seats?

In the IS-F does the driver's seat move back when you either shut off the ignition or open the door? I suspect the steering wheel moves out of the way a-la my 2001 GS, but my 2006 Infiniti M45 also slides the driver's seat back to assist in exiting the car. Does the -F do this too?

Thanks!

Had the same thing on my '06 M45 and missed that feature on my IS-F.
Oh well, you can't have everything.....:D

vehicle does have memory settings if you want to move the seat to get out, then press corresponding number when you get in, wallah!

So you are saying it will move the seat upon exit, automatically, but it wont return it to position? Or are you suggesting programming #3 to move it to a pre-set exit position, and then programming #1 to use your normal seating position?

I realize this is a pretty silly thing to ask.. but once you get used to things... :)
The Sc 430 has it; both colum steering and seats move to ease entry and exit in style.

I usually wear white or light color slacks so this an added bonus for my housekeeper.

I suggested moving the seat back manually with contols on side of seat to get out, then pressing memeory position 1 (for example) would return to driving position when you got back in to drive.
Your suggestion to program number "3" to a "exit" postion is brilliant, that should work good for you. Dealer's have ways to program smart acess keys to correspond to memory numbers, make sure that is NOT done. Have fun !
