Audio System Glitch

Yesterday when I was driving into work, right in the middle of a song my audio system went silent. I tried messing with the volume, turning the audio on and off, etc. to no avail. When I clicked buttons on the Nav screen, I could switch screens but it was a bit sluggish with none of the normal "beeps". I went to the audio page and it showed the CD still playing. I tried switching to the radio and still no luck.

When I left work that afternoon, everything worked fine again and it worked fine on the drive in this morning. So I'm hoping it was just some glitch caused by cosmic rays or such :D

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Solar flares?

Hope it was just a one time glitch.

a couple of times for me I noticed the buttons (AM, FM, SAT-AUX, etc) on the console don't work...i can still control it fine from the steering wheel controls and from nav screen..anyone else have that issue?
OP, do you have your phone connected through bluetooth? i have had the same problem a few times. to fix it, i disable the bluetooth ON MY PHONE, and pull over and shut the car off for a minute or two until it would normally disconnect the car from the phone. when i restart the car, the audio always works again.

it is a very weird thing, but has happened probably half a dozen times

Yes, I do have my phone connected through Bluetooth. I'm not sure if my phone was on at the time, but it certainly could have been. If it happens again, I will definitely check and see if the Bluetooth is connected.

Thanks for the info!

Make a note of the weather if glitches come back.

Mine worked in 75F+ and didn't when under 75F. The unit was replaced due to "Bad circuit board">

My audio has completely shut down a few times as well, I don't have bluetooth devices connected. Thought I blew a fuse or something, but turned the engine off and back on and everything worked fine. Now when it happens, I just restart the engine.
Also, has anyone noticed the blinkers staying on after not so sharp of a 90 degree turn, there is no auto shut off or buzzer to make you aware it is still blinking, is it just me? Thanks.
