Sorry to hear about your difficulty, I also had a problem

with the ML "sound" or lack thereof, system. You need to take it back into your dealer. Maybe they will be nice and switch it out while you wait instead of making you wait a week while they order the part....... Even when working my ML systems is still magrinal at best and the biggest dissapointment about my car. But I really rather listen to the engine sound instead......... :)

After pulling a few strings I got the dealer to accept my car. I dropped it off yesterday to check on my audio problem and for my first oil change.

For my audio problem they said that they will do a diagnostic on the car to find out what the problem is. For that diagnostic they're going to charge me about $400!!

For my oil change, Im expected to pay around $200!

Do those prices seem right to you guys??

supposed to be free and any initial problems should be looked at free also. Think a call to another Lexus dealer or your regional Lexus service center is in order. Plus I'd let the owner/manager of the dealer know of your dissatisfaction with the service department..... You should not pay anything at this point in time IMHO....
