Any Owners in San Jose, CA?

I'd expect the dealer to RATHER have you ride in the car than drive it hahaha. But that's weird, usually you can go right up to them and ask for a test drive, and they'd usually let you.

I'm sure a dealer will let me test drive, they just don't usually let you put on more than a few miles and they certainly won't let you launch, bang through the gears and take it through the twisties like an owner would do in their own car. Test drives rarely really give you the chance to take a car through the paces.

I'm only looking for a ride here too, I'm not looking to joy ride someones IS-F. In trade we can go out in my modified 911.

if you bring your porsche to the dealership and ask for a test drive, they will take you seriously. i am sure you can beat the piss out of it as well, i did before i bought mine.

Amen to that! I find it hard to believe that the dealear won't let you drive one. The dealership in Ontario, CA, let me drive one, and I launched it, cornered it, and made it stop on a dime. That's the reason why I was sold...
