As one of the lucky IS F owners, and a former racer, I would concure with your thoughts and impressions. I spent a lot of time driving my Brother-In-laws BMW 550 before deciding on the IS F. But I too knew within the first three mintues of driving the IS F that the IS F was the right way to go for me. And your right about the IS's transmission!!! The whole car only gets better the more you drive it!
