Is what they product specialist said today at Taste of Lexus. That has yet to be confirmed from my direct sources, but that is what was told to me this afternoon at the El Toro (Irvine) Taste of Lexus.

415hp. I will confirm this and torque numbers shortly.

I'm surprised they would release that kind of information at that event. Wouldn't they have a press release for something important like that?

Agreed. Since they are just posted there to answer questions, i'll have more confirmed answers in the coming days. And a little preview of the car to boot. :D
I hope its more!!
Yep, confirmed with my sources, that number is not the official output. Stay tuned for more.
PLEASE BE MORE LOL I WANT BRAGGING RIGHTS LOL

Disclaimer: i kno i sound like a 13yr old but i had to say what i felt at the time lol. Please dont flame me HHAh i think we all have that feeling but i just expressed it more so.
I'm hoping for 430+ hp, and my guesstimate still stands at 437 hp. I don't think they will have any problem getting that amount of power from that 5.0L motor. One thing we need to keep in mind is that output will be limited by the gas mileage and emission targets (no gas guzzler tax and ULEV II). 431 hp is the minimum because IS-F engine revs at least 500 RPM higher than the 410 hp normal 5.0L V8.

410 hp * (7000 RPM / 6500rpm) = 442 hp

Even if the regular 5.0L V8 has only 400 hp, that would be
400 hp * (7000 RPM / 6500rpm) = 431 hp

If Lexus created something like the M3s gas guzzler engine satisfying only LEV II emissions, the IS-F could easily have 475+ hp.

Plus, given the ULEV II emissions, I would bet that an aftermarket exhaust could uncork even more power, no problem. I wouldn't be surprised if this one simple bolt-on added another 20+ hp, easily. I think the aftermarket will be very good for this car.

I'm not exactly sure what you are doing with the numbers there but I do agree with the latter part of your comment. The ULEV2 rating has gotta be restricting this thing like crazy. I'm betting intake/exhaust will do wonders for engine output. Maybe with a light engine tuning we can see 500 hp from the this beeast.
