2010 LA Auto Show Coverage

Traditionally the Los Angeles International Auto Show was little more than a side-bar to the larger Detroit Show, focusing mostly on green technology cars and convertibles. While that still holds true, the market for hybrids and electric cars has grown considerably and so LA has taken center stage as the car show for environmentally friendly vehicles.

For several years now the LA show has taken up a new spot on the calendar, falling between the Paris and Detroit shows, meaning it gets more of the North American debuts. Plus, with Los Angeles now the center of car culture in North America, the show continues to grow, this year promising 50 vehicle debuts, including 20 world premieres.

Disappointed in Lexus at the LA Auto show.

I went to the LA auto to see what the major brands had to offer. Many other brands did not disappoint, however Lexus I feel was quite weak. Aside from showcasing the 2012 LFA and new ct 200 h, the Lexus platform was undercar'd and pretty puthetic. I must say, ' not what I expected from lexus...

i just hope next year they get the companies like 5 axis and wald onboard and show us something that we want to see...

I work for Lexus Magazine, and while I can't personally manufacture more green vehicles I can direct you to more information on the CT 200h! Lexus Magazine recently an update on the CT 200h pricing starting at 29,120, and a couple month ago posted a feature about Driving the Lexus CT 200h. hope this helps!
