Everything I have read about the GTR makes me drool. Now it is Motor Trend's 2009 COTY. I haven't seen one on the road, let alone driven one. Therefore, I wouldn't want to make a determination. I would test drive one before buying if you are considering it to be your daily driver. Jack, you have owned/driven the F. I would imagine that a test drive in the GTR will quickly tell you if it can be a daily driver. Just watch the launch control. I don't know if they fixed the tranny yet, but we have all heard about the voided warranty stories. 20k for a new tranny....ouch.
Go to the link I provided above that explains the warranty issue so its no longer a factor..

Nice thank you, but what about the everyday. Would it make it as a everyylday car? Was my spelling better on this one?
This is kinda funny b/c I'm telling this story as of now 3rd or 4th time but um last year around mid April(16 days of owning the F) I had a Nissan Dealer telling me about the GT-R asking me to trade the F for it..But back then I had no idea what the GT-R was till I did some research..
Long story short Around October of 08 I was literally inch away from owning a GT-R after I made a $30K deposit on the car but due to circumstance with my business and economic issue I had to get the deposit back(They took 5% from $30K)which was around $28,500(Not sure about other dealerships) but I'll say this, the car IS WORTH EVERY FREAKIN PENNY! at least I thought until launch mode issue which my dealer would not let me use..Perfectly understandable..
But now as I'm sure you read my link I posted the car is 1000% SUPER CAR!
I honestly would not drive that thing as a daily car unless it will be your only car..Originally I was trying to use the F as Commute car and GT-R as a weekend car but as I said earlier it didn't happen so etc....:(

^^^^+1 here. WOW - who the heck do they think they are. Was this in writing - up front? If not, get you money back. $1,500 is an awful lot of money. In any case, report them to the BBB.

Lou
Actually it was..This was when I thought 110% sure that I was able afford it..
They had a separate binding contract where If the party cannot afford the merchandise in this case the Car, Non-Refundable .5% will be deducted from the original deposit..:(
Long story short I wasted mileage,Time, gas and $1,500.00 in the air all b/c my judgment was off at the time..Sort of like surcharge/inconvenience charge..

Lesson Learned folks! Make sure 1000% that you can AFFORD it before changing your mind! BECAUSE THERE IS NO TURNING BACK OR IT WILL BITE BACK!

Bro, I can almost match you in weight 175 at 5'7(Weight Lifter)but everyone is telling me to get the MR in Manuel otherwise I'll be cheating myself..What's your take on it? Also Lot of Magazines are saying about 5.0-5.1 in 0-60..
I can easily see why these cars does under 4.0 secs on 0-60 once modded..
