Headed out to the track for the first time in my IS-F. I don't know if I could love this car more!! For being stock it definitely held it's own. My first run was the fastest.

Here's the details:

2008 IS-F 18,000 miles - San Antonio, Texas
82 degrees
87% humidity :(

Best run of the night:
13.1849 @ 109.04

The remainder of the runs where 13.2's with one being a 13.3 (car in D)

On my 13.18 run I ran against a buddies c5z06 w/ intake, short shifter, and lightweight flywheel and although he edged me out on the time (13.1805 @ 108.88) my quick reaction time got me the White slip (winning one).

I also ran against a brand new SS camaro. His best run was around the 13.5 mark. Car was a manual and was his first time at the track.

Finally an 04 cobra (with x-pipe, intake, drag radials) who best'ed a 13.6. Car was a manual and was also his first time at the track.

Looks like I'll be ordering my exhaust and possibly a set of drag radial's sooner than expected to try my shot at 12's (on a less humid night of course)

GJ, though it seems a little off pace from what other's have posted. what were you 60' times like?

EDIT: didn't realize the temp and humidity! that's a great time! From my experience this motor really falls on it's face in the upper revs in high humidity. You'll be well into the 12's with cooler conditions :)

2.1's

I'm fairly confident that with my weather conditions, my time's pretty normal from what I've researched. I could be wrong though but I think most cars that run faster bone stock either are at sea level or running at cooler temps.
Haha... Such an awesome car. Moving with Z06 and other "hot rods" yet you have a 4 door luxury automatic sedan. Love it.
Ha. Thought about a 125 like slay's car. But decided to go the more traditional bolt-on route... Won't make as much but it'll always be there.
consistent times!
I too took my '08 isf to the track and was very disappointed. My best time was a 13.6 @105. The track temp. was 92 degrees and 100% humidity @ approximately 1200 ft. above sea level. I was really hoping for a low 13 but the heat was just too great. Oh well, I guess it's not all that bad. I did see a procharged c6 z06 running 12.50's @12x so I'll wait until the temperature drops significantly before I return. btw...good looking run against the z06.
