If and when the TRD supercharger comes to fruition it will put the IS-F into supercar territory for sure with mid 3 0-60 times and 11 second qtr mile passes...but the rear rollers will have to go and even the front to put that kind of torque to the road. No supercar I know is running 255s!

yeah i remember when i had my Corvette i raced a White Sti that was around town and then i raced a Evo... they both killed me bad but i know if i was on the freeway i could take them. but because there is no possible way i can launch with thouse things i dont even try. my corvette will always lost traction on the take off and wait it will just put your whole car at a pause and wait till it catches then takes off, now with my isf i think if i do that super charger thats coming out. i don't think anything can stay with it. lol man i sure cant wait for that thing every time i think of that super charger i have a smile on my face
Patience Bro, Like Day and Night..It will happen..I'm anxious about it..I hope TRD does it..otherwise I have to wait year or so for the GTR or at least maybe a GTR or something else altogether..

You Really think so? At best I think we'll see 4.0 Sec Flat..I'm not a big car expert but wouldn't the S/C kit hold down the car a bit? weight wise..
It would be insane if it did do mid 3 sec range..

S/C isnt going to boost your 0-60 times by much if any. even with 285s or what not you are still going to experience a bit of traction issues. any company that is developing an S/C should do tests to see if 1. the transmission would be able to withstand the power/torque 2. if the gearing needs to be changed 3. compression on the motor. obviously these three ideals you would expect TRD to address at some point, however i would hope they look at how wide can you go in the front/rear, and better yet, what modifications to the fender/wheel well need to be made to accomodate a wide enough tire that would be sufficient to putting power to the ground. power is useless unless it gets put to the pavement. i have owned a 700Hp E55 AMG and i can tell you, its very difficult to get that kind of power to the ground, when you get north of 500HP and 500 ftlbs. even with 295s i had to peddle the car off the line unless i was running DRs. Back to the ISF, while 0-60 isnt going to get THAT MUCH better, it is however going to make a big difference in 3rd and 4th gear, so while your 60 ft and 0-60 arnt going to be significantly better, key word SIGNIFICANTLY, your mid range is going to kick ass and thus you should see probably low 12s or optimisitly high 11s to 12 flat on the 1/4 mile. i would expect trap speed to be in the low 120s around z06 territory if the 3900lb ISF makes 600 crank HP.

these would be my estimates.

0-60 4.2-4.3
1/4 mile around 12 flat
trap speed 122ish~

its not magic. its simply have to do with mathematics and the law of force, inertia. its very simple. it will be proven time and time again with rear wheel drive cars. with an AWD car, you are talkin about a whole nother ballgame.

so another option would be to try and convert the isf to AWD. god knows what the cost would be and if thats even possible.

I think I'm gonna pass on the AWD conversion..:D..For all that I might as well purchase a GTR..Right now I'm kinda debating what to get as a 2nd high performance car or just get a commuter car in general b/c I'm trying to cut down the miles on F..Currently I'm looking at a Used Evo 9(Vishnu Mod) or a Mazda RX-7 FD(Not sure who to go to?) or maybe a just a plain 99-2002 Honda accord..Can't decide at the moment..All I know is that I want the F is in tip top condition before it gets traded in later down the years..So Even if TRD does eventually bring out SC kit likely it's up in the air for me..But who knows? People say one thing and then does something else all together..

ehh. the isf would be my commuter car because it would still get better gas mileage than the m3. sadly.

evo 9 would be fun, but if commuter is what youre after, cant go wrong with any type of accord, camry. i had a jetta GLI for a commuter in college and it was a lot of fun. 22 in the city and about 31 on the freeway still with a 1.8T that packed plenty of punch till u hit about 75mph. lol

I have to pass on Evo 9 due to being MANUEL! Ouch! Really powerful car too! Sad but I can't drive manuel..Unless I get a Evo 10 which is SportShifting Automatic with paddle shifters it's not gonna happen..So realistically Accord or Rx7 FD(Found one with 50K miles in Auto but I'm wondering who to go for mod)..

depends. what are your requirements for a DD?
I just want to increase some Hp's..The seller kept the car in mint condition but he's not sure what the specs are..Obviously not a car fanatic..
Looking to get somewhere around 300 hp or more pending on cost.
I know they kick out naturally 252-270 range..
Long story short I just want a decently fast commute car..

Cheat,Lie and Kill..lol..Whatever it takes..ha..ha..But Seriously though it was mainly from driving around locally No joke! I"m predicting for 3 contenders at the moment for a commuter.
1.IS300 2004 (Around 30K miles for $16K..Not bad huh?)
2.Honda Accord 1999-2000 (Around 75-90K Miles for $5k)
3.Mazda Rx7 1993 (53K miles for $14K which is good but I'm wondering)..

Personally,if I were you I'd go for the IS300!!!
1) LOW miles
2) Lexus build, engine is built like a bullit, will last FOREVER!!--Seriously
3) Toyota Supra engine! Can be modded (if you choose) with serious HP,even faster than the "F"
4) It's a LEXUS :D

Good luck!!
