08 Ford mustang Shelby gt500 Vs my Is-F

The Shelby GT500 has a ton of power, but weights a ton too !!! That GT500 needs a diet, and I don't mean a few pounds either. My GM has one, and it is slower than the IS-F. And he's a great driver. Nice kill !!

I definitely believe it, I raced a 996 Porsche c4s and laid like 10 car lengths on him while another ISF owner on this board was following. I can honestly say that the ISF launches stronger than my mb cls55 and on par with the 996porsche turbo I owned. A few days ago I hit 120mph with 4 people in my car playing with a fairly modded Mitsubishi evolution 8, I lost the guy with out really trying.

That doesn't surprise me one bit, the mustang has a supercharged V8 with a weight around 3900 pounds. If your a good shifter, I'm sure you would of had no problem taking one, nice kill though

I had a little fun with a Corvette, not a z06, but a standard corvette with and exhaust system from 60-120 twice, his girlfriend was in the car with him while racing....she left with me

i know this guy threw friends and he just bought a brand new 2 door bmw m3
and im just dying to race this guy... any one have any stories on racing a new m3?

because that shelby gt500 i am just amazed about. i would of put my life saving's on the line that he would beat me. i just wanna whip all my friends with my is-f lol

new m3 really isnt that fast. if you look its 1/4 miles are close to the isf but the isf traps higher. trap speed is what is really about.

i just sent my m3 to VFE for the stage 1 S/C kit.

would love to play with an ISF when im done. anyone ISF owners in the bay area?

Awesome! How many car lengths? I bet he was like this I played with a new M3 Sedan yesterday as well

from 20 - 80 1 car length and a half
i did not think guys that the is-f was this quick its amazing just because i don't feel the torque in the car but yet i am beating everything i wish i had that super charger so i could not even see them in my rear view mirror anymore

the Mustangs Suck in Driveline Loss. They Actualy only put out like 440 to the wheels . Top Gear Dynoed one to much of a suprise. So dont be Fooled after all it is a Ford.J/k Id watch out for modded Evos they are light and not hard to get one to pull 400 ponies out of that turbo engine. Plus AWD launching those things is insane. I drove an 06 heavily modded STi that would Spank Gixxer 1000( suzuki gsxr 1k) Bikes.

Yeah yeah, evos and stis are great...I almost miss my 05 sti with turbo back exhaust and ecutek reflash until you close the door and hit a pothole and your fillings come out. No replacement for cubic inches my lexaholics, just ask Steven Stiffler!

yeah i remember when i had my Corvette i raced a White Sti that was around town and then i raced a Evo... they both killed me bad but i know if i was on the freeway i could take them. but because there is no possible way i can launch with thouse things i dont even try. my corvette will always lost traction on the take off and wait it will just put your whole car at a pause and wait till it catches then takes off, now with my isf i think if i do that super charger thats coming out. i don't think anything can stay with it. lol man i sure cant wait for that thing every time i think of that super charger i have a smile on my face
