Novel Exhaust Systems

Does anyone know about the "Novel Exhaust System" I found it on you tube the other night and I am kinda of intrigued! It is a different sound then what you are used to hearing. From the 3 videos that appear to be just posted it shows it being headers all the way back, a complete system. I am in the proccess of picking a system and this one caught me by surprise.

Novel Exhaust

I saw a thread on CL about it with a link to the video. This is hands down the best sounding exhaust system I have ever heard for the F. It was actually a set of equal length headers that made the car sound like an LFA from what I read. We were under the impression that the headers were about 6K Yikes!!!
But there is no denying the sound it creates......if I take the plunge on a set I'm gonna set my neighbors hair on fire just once on the way out of the subdivision

$6K is indeed nutz, but oh man I just can not get enough of that sound! It reminds me of the movie that Charlie Sheen did "The Wraith" with that car the Dodge Interceptor! I need more videos like in car sounds and maybe some dyno results, and then just maybe I will pull out the plastic!

I like what I hear but WTH is up with those crazy bends towards the right rear muffler? Check that last vid at 0:10. That shit actually reverses direction!!!!...a complete fail for Car Exhaust 101.

It sounds awesome but I can't imagine gains being better than other options out there. And seeing that piping the sound isn't worth the detriment to exhaust flow.

Epic win for sound.
Epic fail for actual design. Boo.

I bet it "reverses direction" to keep with the equal length fashion. Just like the runners in the headers.

Looks funky, but makes sense to me. It should still flow well with those mandrel bends.

I'd love to see some dyno numbers.

You may have a point there but the straighter the exhaust is, 99% of the time that's the way to go unless the car likes back-pressure which I've never heard anyone mention about the ISF. But that may be due to nobody actually testing.

Guys.

The only thing that will define the sound of the exhauust is:

Merge pipe (is there one?)
Resonator
Muffler

If you want this sound you do not need to pay $6000.

Trust me. The mufflers and resonators can be had for around $350 total.

Just find a good custom exhaust shop near you and work with then.

There is nothing "novel" about this system.
