KW Coilovers

Has anyone installed KW's V3's on yet. Looking for feedback. I've always heard great things about these German Coilovers.

Thanks

There are a few people on clublexus who are running KW's. They have no complaints and are the best aftermarket coilovers for the IS-F at the moment. They also cost $2k.

KW inox-line* stainless steel technology and life time warranty are already worthy the price.

I tried other brands like Tein, HKS, Tanabe, BCR, none of them closed to KW in terms of drivability and track performance.
I ended up using KW V3 on my previous STi and B8 S4 for DD/tracking with linear spring setup.

Bilstein PSS10 is also great but no application for ISF yet. And I am currently using KW V3 on my F.

Are the KW's adjustable to the point that they smooth out the jarring ride characteristics of the stock suspension? I'm looking to improve the ride as much as possible.

hey guys,

im also looking for a coilover set. i have narrowed it down to the KW's....but here is the thing....i was watching this youtube install video and i guess you have to cut the top part from your stock susp and attach to the KW's....is that right....is there anyway to not cut anything off from the stock susp...

does all the coils for ISF need this cutting or just the KW's...

For KWs you have to cut the standard top hats. The only way to avoid it is to buy a new set to fit on the coilovers.
Other coilovers come with a top hat so you do not have to reuse the standard ones.

Daily driver: Toyota Aristo V300 (sold) => Lexus IS-F (sold) => Renault Twingo
=> Lamborghini Gallardo
Track car: Supercharged Lexus IS200 (sold) => BMW M3

when you say buy a new set, are you saying buying only the top hats on all 4 corners or i would have to buy all 4 full susp......do they sell only top hats.

i just dont want to cut anything oem, i case i may have to reuse the oem susp....
