W210 E55 beats a Lexus IS-F?

Don't think so, but it's good for a laugh, posted at the mbworld.org kill stories section:

Quote:
The e55 is my dd and I drive it about 30 miles to work and 30 miles back. Had a real long work week and was leaving my friends house last nite. So I then decided to do a little bit of spirited driving that nite lol. I hit the freeway and did a few nice pulls to remind me why I love this car. Nothing WOT but just enough to feel the power with the high revs. As I'm getting off the exit I see a black ISF getting ready to go on the highway, so of course I follow him. I catch up to him and we do a few pulls. We go from 50mph after 3 honks and I thrash him lol. I brake to let him catch up and then we do it again except from 80mph. Smashed him again hit about 150 before I brake to let him catch up. We rolled once more at 60, same outcome. I was def feeling good knowing that my 10year old car still has it. Btw my car is not stock.
For the record, I've got a CLS55 and I think he's full of it. This is the old style, non-supercharged AMG he's got, which had 349 hp stock, i.e. not even close to an IS-F in performance, even if you add an exhaust and a pulley to it!

Anyway, I'm a proud member of the mbworld stamp-out-the-BS crew, and we usually chase bozos like him off by challenging him to replicate his amazing feat, which is what brought me here: if anyone would like to meet this guy at a 1/4 mile strip and smoke him, let me know and I'll invite him...in the event he's actually dumb enough to show and doesn't slink off and hide in the woodwork, it'd be hilarious to watch!

He says his car is not stock. Maybe he added a blower or nitrous? You can beat an IS-F with a 4 cylinder POS if you sink enough coin into it.

In a different thread, he wrote the following when asked about his mods:
Quote:
I have the Vrp hems with custom SS downpipes with high flow race cats for primaries going to 2.5in ss magnaflow xpipe with 2.5in ss to the amg muffler(sounds real good). Also evosport underdrive pulley with ams crankshaft pulley and renntech cf airbox with k&n's and use royal purple oil and oil for diff.
These mods won't pick him up anywhere near the 100 hp or so he'd need to do what he claimed to do. Personally, assuming the whole thing wasn't just made up, I think he ran an IS350 and mistook it for an IS-F.

Agreed. It had to be an F branded IS "Camry". An F would have been a different issue. I had the IS350 and it was quick, the F is quicker.
Side Note: See Lexus, thats why you DO NOT USE THE F FOR ANYTHING THAT ISN'T AN F!!!!!!!!!!!!

My best friend owns the new M3 and told me he felt this was a WRONG MOVE on Lexus's part to put the F badge on the other models.

Could not agree more.

I am starting to see these more and more.

This guy most likely ran into an IS250 F, that with all due respect, My V6 Accord with CAI can probably beat.
