The ISF will shift faster, and having more gears will keep in in the meat of the powerband better.

2008 Lexus IS F - SGM - JoeZ intake pipe, Tom's filter, Borla catback exhaust, 30% tint all around, 245/35R19 and 275/30R19 Continental DWS tires

There's more to a car than just performance, that's where the ISF shines.

I wanted a Mustang GT really bad when I was 18, never happened for various reasons (my father being one of them), now I don't even care for this car. I drove a 2005 and the interior was falling apart on me.

Still looks like a Ford Mustang, and probably handles like one too. Nope. I will pass on that!

I don't know the specs look good but come on its a Ford! The tranny won't be as fast and there is a little more torque less hp and less weight. Straight line probably who gets the launch on a track hands down the F! I mean a solid axle is old tech... its a good way to keep it together... in a straight line. Here is a good comp. My roommates got an 09 M3 it has less hp and torque but really the tranny "DCT" shifts faster and it really who ever gets the launch. My bet is on the F for the win in everything.

IS-F vs a 2011GT = no brainer. Sure they are close in power, but you are also comparing $60k to $40k, which makes no since once you go past the power of the cars.

Price wise you are comparing an IS-F to a 2011 GT500, which is pushing 550hp and 510Tq, no contest in the power.

Quality has always been a no brainer for Lexus, but a lot of this posting goes to show that very few have not noticed the boost in quality Ford has done with the Mustang, both inside and under the hood. They are in no way up to Lexus standards yet, but then again, Mustang has NEVER been a luxury car and never will be, its pure power, its a MUSCLE car, not a Luxury Sports car, 2 different classes of cars.
