I was wondering if anybody knew if its possible to disable the DRLs (1) and enable fog lamps to stay ON when I switch to high beams(2). I would basically have no lights on during the day and at night I could run all six bulbs at the same time...:cool:

I am looking into the cal data CD's that toyota provides so I should have some answers in the coming weeks.

On Volkswagen - Audi its all done thru car management options, switch the dash to UK standards and then you can enable/disable bits to make any changes to the headlights, actuate windows from the remote, etc...

You might want to check state laws regarding this mod prior to doing it. I know in WA that you are only allowed to have 4 bulbs on at a time. High beams alone power 4 bulbs. Not a big deal, but one more reason to get stopped and draw more attention to your ride by the PoPo. I do agree that at times when high beams are on the lower vision range or closer part of the road is difficult to see.
