Ok, for all of you who own an IS-F, are you aware of all of the voice commands you can say after pressing the voice command button on the steering wheel? Is everyone aware of the voice command that shows all of the restaurant icons on the Nav screen? For those of you who aren't, try pressing the voice command button and say "I'm hungry" after the beep. Bamm!! there's all of the local restaurants local to your location! Does everyone already know this one or is it new to some of you?

It's not necessarily new to me :) I use it all the time :cool: How many commands are there, the dealer told me 50, is there a list of them?

This applies to all Lexus Gen 5 Navigation. If you don't want to hear your NAV to always say "After the beep, please say a command", you can do the following steps.

Press MENU

then press SETUP

Go to Page 2 of 3 of the listings

Set VOICE RECOGNITION GUIDANCE to OFF.

There are just over 600 voice commands the gen 5 nav understands. Although, some of the commands are very similar. For example, you can say "nearest golf course". But you could also say "show nearest golf course" and acheive the same result. If there is any interest I could possibly produce the complete list. Anyone want to see that? If so, I'll work on it.

That would be awesome so long as it is not to much work! I guess my dealer was completely wrong in telling me 50, thanks for setting it straight! :D
