Anyone ever used these guys before. Wondering how their product was. Says that they have an intake and exhaust system

I am skeptical of the claimed +20RWHP and torque figures from an air intake system. I think that they are blowing smoke, as a 3% increase is more realistic (at the flywheel, not the rear wheels).

It seems kinda high I'd like to see independent tests...

If you really want to have a chance at selling these things, you've got to show us the proof on a video......

Here's the challenge......Produce the proof !

Well went to capitol raceway to run my F. i was in the stageing lanes and the owner Mo came up to me and asked me if i was doing any mods. i said yes there is just nothing out. he said well im the owner of SRT which is right here in maryland. he said you do have to solder 5 wires together for the intake. and the exhaust is not that loud. i dont think this is a good product for the car after a 25 min. talk with him.....im gonna wait for borla

Out of total curiosity why do you think its not a good product for the car? Feel free to PM me if you want, I'm totally curious as I was considering the product line from them but decided to wait.

I don't know of anyone who has purchased an exhaust yet from them although I do know of people who have installed the intake for the IS-F, which they say sounds awesome, I'm just not big on the soldering of the wires.

Here is my completely independent review, no affiliation with SRT (made pretty clear in the post)

http://www.carfaq.org/index.php/topic,1079.0.html

Basically - per the dynos on MY car, torque is lost and never re-gained and approximately 5HP is gained at high RPM, while considerable amounts are lost in the low end. I am waiting for a response from SRT.

I think a lot of F owners are going to wait and see what comes out after the SEMA show :) Rumor has it there is going to be a bunch of new stuff for the F showing for the first time, we will see :)

I will also, like you, wait to see what else comes out and see what the other people say about the SRT exhaust, I don't know anyone who has it yet, the intake though, a few people are starting to pick it up

didnt i see you note that you installed the srt intake? I just ordered it today and getting concerned because of some of the negative comments on the forum. I like the idea of the growl and am okay with 7 hp but I dont want to lose any low end torque or HP.I'm waiting for posted videos?

Not sure if you guys know. This exhaust system is composed of Magnaflow mufflers and custom mandrel bent piping with universal compression fittings. To be honest, the sound is very raw and is a bit annoying. It sounds like a raw untuned muscle car. My friend recently swapped his out for an upcoming exhaust that sounds a lot more better and built specifically for the IS F.

Any more details on your friends exhaust Flipside?

^^^^he will die before he tells you haha. At SEMA right Ryan?
Magnaflows belong on my V8 4runner, not my ISF. I wanted to design my own muffler for the F as well. I do not think any universal will do it justice.
