Hi all,

Im Raffy David. I have a SGM 08 IS F. Im a friend and customer of oarngemig who is also on this forum. Like him, I also have (he sold his though) an 07 STI and I take it out to Time Attack events quite a bit. I'm really enjoying the IS F around town and occasionally on the racetrack too.

Looking forward to learning more about this car here and meeting new friends.

Hey Raffy, I am Filipino as well but am based in the U.S. I was actually in the Philippines just yesterday for my bro's wedding last week and I missed my IS F so much while there. I wish I can run it on the Skyway or that star highway in Pampanga. Great to hear that you guys over there are IS F owners. Mabuhay!

Wow that is low miles for a 2008. I take it this is your daily driver. I bet there are some fun roads to take your F on. Are you a big car guy? What type of other cars have you owned?

Yes, its my DD for now. Im kind of a car guy and I really enjoy doing time attack events. I currently have an 09 Forester Turbo (Grey, AWD) 00 TT Roadster (Tuned, Grey, AWD) and an 07 STI (Tuned, Grey, AWD). Since I got the F, Ive barely touched these cars. The Lexus is a great car around town and on the highways.

yea, when I first got my F I wasn't planning on making it my DD, but I ended up selling my Acura because it just sat for 4 months. This car is addicting, especially in sport mode durring gear chages above 3500rpm.

Since it became my DD I decided to change the suspension to be a little more forgiving. I put on the Tien springs. I love them. the ride is softer, but hugs the corners better. I still can't figure that one out. Also put on the F sport rear sway bar, did that before the springs.

By the way does anyone remember the model of the BBS Magnesium which I think was posted by Big Mike? I have to give my WEDS SA67 a rest since I changed my rear tires to 275 35 19 as they were rubbing big time. I already rolled my fenders and it was still rubbing at the rear part of the fender, the area where the bumper meets the fender. A drag since I like the weight of the WEDS. I figure I need offset 45 with the 275s. WEDS was 35.
