yeah no more snow!!! But anyways, I checked on tirerack and it looks like they have packages available. I'm going to order a set for next winter. I'm debating new wheels for the summer and use the current IS-F wheels for winter.. or just get cheaper snow wheels/tires

My "F" will hibernate for the winter and come out to play during late spring into summer. I don't plan on taking the car out much during winter/snow days.

That's what I imagine most owners would do. The IS-F seems to be a car to powerful when in the snow, even if snow tires are hooked up, it would appear in my estimation that the massive torque would render the snow tires useless. That's why I asked this question, I live in the Northeast U.S. and where I live it would seem you need the IS-F for 3 seasons (Fall, Winter, & Summer) and another vehicle for winter. For me this is not an option I would need to have one car only. If only the IS-F was AWD. :(

I'm not driving mine in the snowy months, not because of the snow but because of the salt......
I'm sure that with a decent set of snow tires and some careful driving, the 'F' would be fine in the winter months...

If I remember right, we have a "snow" button right under the "sport" button. I guess Lexus intended for it to drive in snow at least sometimes.

PS Car is gone to work so I can't go out and check...

there is a snow mode- this takes alot of torque out of the take off, resulting in a smoother drive.
...also a better gas button- but no fun

Right on -- John.....there is a snow mode on the vehicle dynamics control, as well as an off position and the sport mode.
This should help keep one well out of trouble in the snow....:)

I would love to drive IS-F in snow with stock summer tires!!! I used to own a 04 330CI SMG with summer tires that I used to drive in snow:p It was a lot of work to keep the car moving but was a lot of fun:D Just make sure you are not on the road at the same time as I am! I can't guarantee that I won't hit you:cool:

LOL currently I drive an E90 330i with ZSP (Sports Package) and when snow comes, it's hell because my property is on a hill. When I leave when there is snow, good chance my car isn't getting up that hill. :( So more likely than not my next vehicle will be an SUV or at least AWD.
