Looking for any other IS-F owners who are interested in meeting up Saturday Feb. 23 in Irvine and heading over to "coffee and cars" at Ford Headquarters. There is always a good turn out, especially by those among the bmw crowd. It would be fun to send a statement- there is a new beast on the block!. Have to get there super early 7am, that's the only downside. Email me if you are interested.

At the suggestion of some members I moved the meet up time to 6am because spaces become filled by 6:45 at "Cars and Coffee".

Coffe and cars show was a blast!!! Both CQE and I (rushnut) were there and proudly displayed our beasts. Some good interest in the cars, though turnout wasn't as big as usual, I'm told. Probably due to the crappy weather we've been having, etc.

Anyway, we had fun and would really like to get a bigger turnout of IS-Fs to the show the next time we hit it. Please email and/or post if you're interested in making another showing at this show and we'll start planning it now.

Nice pics rushnut!!. I tried to post my own but the size is to big for this forum. I posted some on MYIS forum website. Should be a lot bigger next time around, the weather is suppose improve. When leaving the show it was extremely diifcult not to light them up for the crowd. I changed my mind when I saw the Irvine PD sitting down the road. Thanks for coming out.....hopefully more members will join.

Yeah I'm already jonesing for Saturday, but I don't think any other IS F's are going to head out to Irvine 3/1. Might sit this one out, but I agree a club would be great. I'm thinking a once a month meet up, then a rally of sorts up the coast??...or some nice windy roads up in the mountains. Keep the ideas flowing guys. Also as to your question about bridge. vs miche. I asked the chassis engineer and bascially the plant has a contract with both companies, it's completely up to them which IS F gets either pair. Most likely it's a 50/50 split. I do know that you can special request them, but for us we just took the first cars available, hence we didn't really care at least we have the beasts. 500 miles on the beast...almost time to go full throttle. Hope the black beast is enjoying 6800 rpm.

So I put some more miles on the beast driving down to S.D. . I pushed it a little and I expected to fully take flight, amazing torque and sound. I'm thinking of March 15 or 22 for IS F meet up. Might have some more Lexus vehicles also join from other clubs. Anyone else open to either one of those dates let us know.

I'm WLA based but willing to drive! :)

I'd be interested in meeting up in the DFW area. Would have taken delivery of my IS-F yesterday, but it had the Bridgestone tires. Luckily, my dealer has ordered replacement Michelin PS2 for delivery on Tuesday.

Any recommendations on break-in period?? I was told to drive like I stole it from day one. This is how I drove my BMW, just not sure if the Lexus has the same temperment.

Any thoughts??
