A few people have it actually. A guy down the street from me just got it installed. It definitely sounds really nice as with all open intakes. We drove it on an open road for several miles and power gain is definitely noticeable on the top end. Doubt this guy will get it dynoed.

are there any pics? is it just a filter change or is the whole intake changed?

It's an entire intake change which means it comes with an aluminum tube, cone filter and semi-enclosed heat shield like most K&N Typhoon systems. It's pretty loud and you really hear the 5.0L V8!

K&N looks to be taking a backseat to the Joe-Z intake.

Here is a video about the K&N that has pictures and a description

They are claiming a +28hp on a $350-$400 price? Please someone independently dyno this... I am very curious to see if this is true (SRT was claiming about the same and it turned out to be a bust). If this is true, it blows the joez intake and tom's air filter away.....

One thing to note.... tools needed to install the joez intake and tom's air filter = 1 screwdriver and about 10 minutes... tools needed for the k&n = about 7? and 90 minutes...

But the additional 80 minutes and a couple extra tools would be well worth the extra 20+ horsepower if it's true. You only have to clean the filter once every 10000 miles. Well worth the effort if claims are indeed real.

^Before conclusions are reached on the K&N, it really needs to be independently dyno'd. I know there are a few people who purchased it and are waiting on the intake to arrive. I will personally reserve judgment until third party dyno results are shown. A 28hp increase seems a little inflated to me but I will wait and see :)

"The 69-8703 intake gives a 28.15 HP (@ 5900rpm) increase".

Sorry had to put the 69-8703 part in. LOL. But seriously that much gain from an intake? Hmmmm. Nice plug for Longo Lexus haha.

BTW, did you know the 69-8703 intake is for off road use only? And the 69-8703 intake takes about 90 minutes or less to install. WTF?

Do you realize they say the 69-8703 intake 6 freaking times?! LMFAO 69-8703 FTMFL.
